Privacy Policy

1. Our commitment

SlashTech Australia Pty Ltd (we, us, our), part of Slash Group, operates the SlashFlow pre-launch site at slashflow.com.au. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect through this site, why, and what control you have over it.

2. What we collect

This site is deliberately minimal. The only personal information we collect is what you choose to give us:

• Your email address, if you register interest in the SlashFlow launch (the registration form is currently switched off, so we are not collecting addresses through the site at the moment).
• Anything you send us directly, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message if you email us.

We do not ask for, and this site does not collect, payment details, government identifiers, or any of the sensitive information categories defined in the Privacy Act.

3. Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies, runs no advertising or analytics trackers, and does not build a profile of you. Web fonts are served from this site rather than a third party, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you visited. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy before turning it on.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which may include your IP address, the pages requested, timestamps, and your browser’s user agent. We use these only to keep the site running and secure.

4. Why we collect it

We use the information we collect to:

• tell you when SlashFlow opens, and share pre-launch updates;
• answer your enquiries; and
• operate, secure, and improve the site.

We will not use your email address for an unrelated purpose, and we will not sell it. We only send marketing you would reasonably expect from registering interest, and every message includes a way to opt out, as required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that help us run the site and send email — for example our hosting and email delivery providers — and only so they can perform those services for us;
• Others within Slash Group, where needed for the purposes described above; and
• Anyone we are required to disclose to by law, or where you have consented.

Some of these providers may store or process data outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles the information consistently with the APPs.

6. Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep pre-launch registration details only for as long as we need them for the purpose you gave them to us, and then destroy or de-identify them.

7. Accessing, correcting, and deleting your information

You can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@slashflow.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable period, normally 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. If we refuse a request, we will tell you why in writing.

8. Unsubscribing

To stop hearing from us, use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or email hello@slashflow.com.au. We will action it promptly and remove your address from the launch list.

9. Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information or breached the APPs, please contact us first at hello@slashflow.com.au so we can investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, and the “last updated” date above tells you when it last changed.
